Construction Features for Closed Case Carts

Construction:
Cabinet:
Top:
one piece with back and both sides flanged down; front is flanged down and formed to create a sloped horizontal recessed door jamb with hemmed and flattened door stop
Braces: formed angles; spot-welded to the Top's underside; punched to accommodate drawer runners
Back and Sides: one piece wrapper; formed with 90 degree bends; the front flanges of the sides are formed to create a vertical recessed door jamb with hemmed and flattened door stop; wrapper is inserted into the Top with back and sides spot-welded to Top's flanges; Top's front flange with recessed door jamb is fully heli-arc welded to the wrapper's front flanges with recessed door jamb; welds are ground smooth and polished to a uniform finish

Handles, Styles A & B:
Housing:
formed cavity with tapered top and bottom and solid ends; spot-welded into Cabinet Sides
Push Bar: formed channel with hemmed edges; fastened into Housing with machine screws and lock nuts

Handles, Styles C & D:
Bracket:
shaped and angled to inset Push Bar ends from front and back of Top; fully heli-arc welded to Top's corners; welds are polished to a uniform finish
Push Bar: ends are fully heli-arc welded to Brackets; welds are ground smooth and polished to a uniform finish
Shelf Brackets: punched and formed angles; spot-welded inside Cabinet to wrapper's Back and vertical door stop
Bottom: one piece with back and both sides flanged down; front is formed to create a recessed door jamb and stop; Bottom is pitched towards the front door opening with drain holes punched in the front corners; Bottom is inserted into the wrapper with back and sides spot-welded to wrapper to create a smooth, edge-free cart interior; front flange with recessed door jamb is fully heli-arc welded to the wrapper's front flanges with recessed door jamb; welds are ground smooth and polished to a uniform finish; caulked with clear, temperature-resistant silicone sealant to sides and back

Doors:
Outer Panel:
one piece formed with top, bottom, and both sides flanged; top flange is sloped
Inner Panel: one piece formed with top, bottom, and both sides flanged; Inner Panel is inserted into outer panel; corners are fully heli-arc welded; welds are ground smooth and polished to a uniform finish; top, bottom, and both sides are intermediately heli-arc welded; welds are polished to a uniform finish; drainage holes are incorporated into the door's bottom edge
Latch: self-latching latch is incorporated into the door's design
Latch Striker Plate: punched and formed; fastened to recessed door jamb with machine screws and lock nuts
Hinges: flag-style hinge sets; male portion with pin fastened to the Cabinet with machine screws and lock nuts; female portion heli-arc welded to the door; welds are polished to a uniform finish

Chassis:
Frame Rails:
punched and formed angles
Frame Cross Rail/Caster Support: punched and formed channel fitted with weldnuts for mounting casters
Frame Rails are heli-arc welded creating a one-piece frame; independant chassis is inserted into bottom of Cabinet, recessing the chassis
Casters: fastened to frame with machine screws

Bumper:
Insert:
slid into Channel
Channel: bends are mandrill-bent for wrinkle-free bends
Brackets: punched and formed; spot welded to Channel
Bumper is fastened through the Cabinet to Chassis with machine screws and lock nuts
