Stainless Steel Self-Framed Suspended Mouse Cage features a #3 x 18 gauge welded wire mesh front and bottom. The one-piece wire mesh is welded to the hemmed flanges on the front and bottom edges of the sides and back of the cage wrapper. The solid wrapper is hemmed and flanged at the top, forming full-length suspension runners along both sides. These runners have lanced dimples to secure the cage on various racks. The back of the cage can be punched to accommodate a watering system.

This cage has a die-formed header handle available with or without a full-width cardholder.

This cage is available in various sizes of single, double, and triple widths. The cage's inside depth determines the specific rack required. All cages are fixture welded to insure interchangeability within a given size.

Stainless Steel Tubular Rack with Collection Pans for Suspended Mouse Cages is available as a single- or doublefaced rack. Single-faced racks accept cages from one side only, while double-faced racks accept cages from both sides. The rack is designed to hold single, double, and triple width cages. The cage's inside depth determines the specific rack required.

The rack is fabricated from 1" square tubular uprights and solid shelves. The tubular uprights’ upper ends are capped, the lower ends are fitted with caster couplers, and both ends are welded and ground smooth. The front and back edges of the shelves are formed-up into channels, and the ends are formed down. Each cage is held securely in place by full-length cage runners that are spot welded to the undersides of the shelves with their ends welded to the shelves’ edges.

The shelf under each tier of cages has two removable tapered collection pans that are held in place by pan runners welded to the shelf. The shelves are welded to the rack uprights. The uprights have a glass beaded satin finish, removing any discoloration.

The rack is equipped with chrome plated swivel casters with 5" polyolefin wheels, two with wheel brakes. Swivel and axle bearings have seals and zerk grease fittings.
